Mushrooms
A Brief Introduction to Magic Mushrooms the UK
Mushrooms - what we all about - find a wide dispersement amongst the brilliant natural habitats of the United Kingdom and Ireland. The general moist climate that exist in this fabulous country along with "occasional " dry spells, makes for perfect suitability for us, and the magic mushroom species psilocybe semilanceata, or Liberty Cap (amongst others).
This mushroom in recent times has taken on a mantle as a symbol of peace and harmony, (as well as one of defiance and misunderstanding) tuning people into the environmental ambience of the planet. For this it is a very special mushroom. It has truly magical, healing and spiritual properties and sooner or later will be viewed by society as a wonder drug - (you heard it hear fist ok) and is gradually gaining a more widespread acceptance for these positive and amazing affects. The Shroom Liberation Front seeks only to continue to help this acceptance along in a law abiding, intelligent and responsible way. We do not endorse nor encourage Drug Taking, but also feel that the magic mushroom experience deserves more respect in today's global society due to the huge importance of the feelings it can inspire.

We are fortunate in Great Britain as to provide near perfect conditions suitable for a range of magic mushrooms to grow and flourish, not to mention many excellent habitats where they can be found. These habitats by co-incidence also happen to be in some of our most free and 'available to all' land - Britain's National Parks, "ironically enough", symbolsing perfectly the true essence of what these mushrooms are all about and testament to their amazing and beguiling ability to co-exist with humans - it's almost as if they want to be found - but more importantly it's important to remember - Shrooms are about Freedom in every sense of the word - talk about a free drug for all, if there was one!! They have so much to teach us, and everyone can learn from their awesome powers.
We have taken the liberty to provide a map of the UK's National parks for your information, but as we shall see, these Mushrooms (Psilocybe semilanceata) are not solely our own, and find a wide dispersement throughout Europe and the World. They also grow freely outside the borders of National Parks too, and are literally scattered across the length and breadth of the British Isles, in Parks, Golf Course, Cricket Pitches and Rugby fields etc ..However, the National Parks of the UK are exceptional places, and at certain times of the year, truly magical places to be. We strongly encourage everybody to come over to the UK to see them for yourself - we promise you an amazing time is to be had in these beautiful and unspoiled regions of the World.
