Welcome to the Shroom Liberation Front. We are dedicated to promoting the benefits of magic mushrooms and providing strong arguments against their prohibition, as well as acting as a beacon for the shrooming community to unite in shrooms' defense.

We also hope to capture the spirit of shrooms and shroomers though our website, and to provide a hub of entertainment, packed with great music videos, and informative documentaries on anything from shroom uses, to the state of our oceans. We also want to highlight the plight of the planet and the effect of man's impact on it, through our actions. We are very much for saving the planet and trying to instill an interest in nature. We also wish to provide a bridge over the divide, and unite people who have our shared interest and passion for shrooms into a common force, to be known as the Shroom Liberation Front. The SLF is an experimental organisation, born out of the situation created from the British Government's outright ban on the use, and cultivation of virtually all magic mushrooms in Britain in 2005. The SLF was created with the objective to raise awareness for and spread knowledge about magic mushrooms and to reach out and unify people who share our passion for these amazing mushrooms where-ever in the world they may be. To stamp down a message, you are not alone, and you are not forgotten.

The govenrments actions have essentially made the magic mushroom in all it's various guieses the quintessential "forbidden fruit" of its age. It is a moniker that the shrooms live up to, and is capable of transporting those who chooses to "entertain" the musrhoom to magical worlds, and enchanted Garden of Edens. Many people also discover a deep connection with themselves, often considered spiritually significant, as well as discovering greater meaning in the world around them, and a deep affinity for nature and important bond and connectedness with it. Magic mushrooms offer a beutiful state of mind, and a beutiful state of being. And its with experiences like these that the allure of the magic mushroom continues strongly to this day, and it's appeal is something the SLF believes will outlast and survive any efforts to prevent or restrict its use. Magic mushrooms simply cannot be banned for ever. Sooner or later, popular wisdom and culture will catch up, and place back the mushroom on the pedastal it so rightly deserves.

The SLF would hazard that mushrooms are still used as much today many years after the ban, as they were before it. The Ban's only noteworthy achievment is eliminating the open sale and production of these mushrooms, and the consequenting creation of a underworld black market that inevitably occurs when any popular commodity is prohibited.
